How to Order Custom Vents

Below is the information needed to correctly place an order for our custom vents.

Configurations

Below are specific configurations on ordering custom vents.

Flush with frame vents

  • Flush with frame vents should be ordered by duct opening.

    Example - If the duct opening is 10 x 10, the overall dimensions including the frame will be 14 x 14.

  • This included a 1” rail around the duct opening and a 1” frame around the entire vent. (2” on each side, 4” total difference between the duct opening and overall dimension).

Flush no frame vents

  • Flush no frame vents should be ordered by overall dimensions.

    Example - If the duct opening is 10 x 10, the overall dimensions will be 12 x 12.

  • This includes a 1” rail around the duct opening. (1” total on each side, 2” total difference between the duct opening and overall dimension).

Insert vents

  • Insert vents should be ordered by the duct opening.

    Example - If the duct opening is 10 x 10, the overall dimensions will be 11-1/2 x 11-1/2.

  • This includes a 3/4” flange around the duct opening size given. (3/4” total on each side, 1-1/2 difference between the duct opening and overall dimension).
